| Gamma Phi Beta for a Lifetime... |
Becoming a Gamma Phi Beta during your college years in the first step of a life membership; once the college days are over a sister of the International Sorority enjoys membership rights, privileges and responsibilities wherever she may live, work or travel. As a sister of one of the oldest women's society, a Gamma Phi joins over 150,000 members with 116 Collegiate chapter and more than 160 alumnae groups in the United States and Canada.
Joining an alumnae group in one way to stay involved after the end of college. Here at Epsilon Delta we are blessed to have the Omaha Alumnae Chapter support us in all we do. Together, sisters old and new, celebrate Founders Day each fall, welcome new members each spring and support camping for girls and Camp Fire USA with numerous philanthropic events. Our alumnae also write recruitment recommendations for potential members, contribute to The Crescent (an international publication to connect across the world) and supply final exam care packages during late nights.

A special benefit for Camp Fire USA, Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropy partner, is coming on Wednesday, April 25, 2007.
"Freedom Writers" is a true story based on the life of Erin Gruwell, a young teacher from Long Beach, California. Miss Gruwell will be coming to Omaha on April 25th to speak at a luncheon for Camp Fire USA. The recently released movie stars Hilary Swank and Patrick Dempsey. Invitations for the luncheon are not out yet, but we hope to get a group of Gamma Phi Betas to attend and support Camp Fire USA in addition to sharing some sisterhood.
