Sisterly Love
By far the most defining feature of the Epsilon Delta chapter is the love we have for each other. We are so much more than a cookie-cutter sorority, with each sister offering her own unique personality. Yet we fit together with our goofy senses of humor and dazzling smiles, possessing just enough differences to grow, yet enough similarities to make life-long friendships. We give and take the best of each other, leaning on each other through the laughter and tears. We are a smiling face on the street or a study buddy. We are constant motivation to be the best woman you can be. We are a friend to share everything from secrets to date party costumes with. We are future connections in a new place. We are a compliment that makes your day. We are an instant connection with someone you have never met. We see the potential in you that you can't yet see in yourself. We are Gamma Phi Beta.

G Phi Valentines
Not only does the Gamma Phi Beta Epsilon Delta chapter spread the love among each other, we like to bring smiles to the faces of everyone on campus. One way we do this is through our annual fundraiser, Carnations for Your Cutie. Students can purchase a carnation, write a note, and have it hand-delivered to their valentine's dorm by a G Phi the Saturday before Valentine's Day - all for $1!
This is the fourth year we have participated in this event and the numbers are growing every year. In 2009, we sold 250 carnations. In 2010, it doubled - we sold 500 carnations. This year, we sold over 1000 carnations!! Thanks to everyone who purchased a carnation and to all of the girls who helped work tables and delivery!

In Memory of a Sister
Kali Mann was a recent graduate from Creighton University where she majored in American and Women's Studies and was involved with Gamma Phi Beta. She unexpectedly passed away in a car accident on Christmas Eve of 2010. She touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for her upbeat personality and passion for gender equality. A memorial service was held on January 23, 2011 at Creighton, but letters of love and support can still be sent to her family at:
Mann Family
6631 Eliot View Rd.
St. Louis Park, MN 55426
An article on Kali can be found here.
A note from Kali's Gamma Phi daughter, Elizabeth Fairbairn:

I have been having a hard time comprehending and dealing with Kali’s passing. The love and support I have received from my sisters this past week has been phenomenal. The sisterhood retreat on Saturday made me feel incredibly loved and respected. The sisterhood in those four rooms was the loving community which Kali helped introduce me to and made me feel a part of, it reminded me of the potential this sisterhood has to improve a sisters day, week, year, life…
The messages I received before Kali’s memorial of support and reminders of the love I have in my life were heart-warming. I cannot express to you the warm rays of sunshine I could literally feel from the sisters sitting around me in the pews as I tried to keep my tears to a minimum. Thank you for all of your support. I hope that every sister gets to feel how amazing this sorority is in a time of need, I am so grateful to be Gamma Phi and am so happy for the new baby gators…they are just beginning to see and feel this wonderful community.
